I just had my first child and was loving that I had no work pressure or stress. The time came when I had to return to some part-time work but did not want to settle for my previous job - a high pressure sales role. I had always been stressed in my work life and never had any flexibility. I needed a work life balance to suit my new lifestyle but also wanted to do something I enjoyed. I started cleaning and found it was the happiest I had ever been. I could switch off from work when at home and had the flexibility to do my own hours and spend quality time with my son. I felt really good being able to make a difference to people’s lives by helping them with things they just don’t have the time to get around to. Being a Mum myself I understand how time poor you become and how hard it is to keep on top of everything. Sometimes the cleaning can feel like it is never ending.
Once I started building more clientele I wanted to do more than just cleaning. I wanted to provide an outstanding service, I wanted to give more back. Whenever I clean my own space there is this feeling of satisfaction, happiness and a feeling of peace. I truly believe that a clean space creates a clear mind and we are able to function more productively. I believe the home is a sacred space where we come to relax after a long day, enjoy delicious meals, make wonderful memories and be in a safe space. If that place is not clean and organized it feels like a disruption. I want to contribute to other peoples feelings in a positive way where they can come home after a long day and be in their own wonderful space with a free, clear mind and just relax and reenergize for the next day. That is when The Luxury Dream Clean was born, I wanted to offer a better service and add the little luxuries that we as humans find we don’t have the time to do.
